This Village

In between dealing with school work, I decided to pause and take some time for my blog. I went outside and got some pictures taken on this cloudy, rather boring sunday afternoon. My outfit (and also my hair color) complement the landscape of this small village where I live in nicely. You see, on rainy Sundays (or any other day to be exact) there is seldom excitement in my village. This place looks pretty much as dead as shown in the pictures.

Inspiration: Simply Casual

Lately I've been getting more and more into Pinterest and therefore neglected blogging. It's so addictive to press on the red P button whenever you see a nice picture on the web. I've collected a good amount of new streetstyle inspiration, which I'm gonna present to you now.

(all images collected at pinterest.com)

As you can probably tell, I'm very much into casual, single colored, no patterned and slouchy clothes at the moment. I'm having a bit of a crush on Elin and co.
The Scandinavians simply know how to dress fine.

Seoul #5: The last bits

Okay this is going to be my last post showing you my photos from my holidays in seoul. It has been two weeks now since I got back. Now I'm lying in my bed with my stomach empty and tired eyes trying to remember a specific moment in seoul, which I could tell you about. But I'm not very much in the mood for lots of words, which is why I'm letting my pictures speak for themselves. All I can say is that I've enjoyed my stay in Seoul very much. It has been quite an experience. I shopped like a crazy person, had the best food in my life and also the grossest (I tried living squid, cocoons and chicken ass) and experienced seoul by night, which is so exciting and fun, because the city has so much to offer for a friday night - or any night to be exact.

Bed, Breakfast and Flyknits

I did something amazing last weekend. I came up with a very own muesli creation. I was forced to use different ingredients that day, because we ran out of the usual fruits and berries. So I had to take what was left in the kitchen and to my astonishment it turned out so very delicious and sweet. Not like a restrained sweetness, which is what I would normally expect from my muesli, but it was actually as sweet as a dessert, without any added sugar.
I highly doubt that anyone would ever recreate this muesli, but I just love to write down lists of ingredients, so here goes the recipe:
  • 250g of low-fat yoghurt
  • 1 apple (half grated and the other half cut into little cubes)
  • About a handfull of Walnuts
  • About a handfull of goji berries
  • 1 dried fig (cut into little pieces)
  • 1 tbsp of peanut butter

I also bought these pair of Nike Sneakers last week, which is very unusual for me. I have to get used to the colors bouncing off my feet. Apart from that they're a great buy, so comfy, almost like walking on air.

Seoul #4: Cycling along the River

On a Tuesday, if I'm recalling it correctly, we decided to be sporty for a change and therefore went to rent a tandem for an hour, in order to cycle along the River "Han". It wasn't a typical touristic thing to do. I've always wanted to do things in a foreign country, what only locals would do. It's the best way to get to know a city in my opinion. As we made our way along the River we listened to a Chris Brown Song over and over again, which got stuck in my head ever since. In the evening we went to Hongdae for the very first time and enjoyed a very delicious korean barbecue for my second time in Seoul.
