These are four of my very small Mac Lipstick collection (which contains of six in total, one melted and the other one wasn't very photogenic). Unintentionally did I buy six lipsticks of every single finish Mac has. The other two that I own are Angel (Frost Finish) and Hot Tahiti (Glaze Finish). This might be kinda uninteresting for those of you, who aren't very similar or fond of Mac products or lipsticks in general. But I am and quite a few of my friends know that. This is already the second blogpost that I'm writing about my Lipsticks (the other one can be found here). Every now and then I feel the sudden craving to take all of my lipsticks out, swatch them, put them on or take photos of them. It's a very strange custom of mine, I know.
While you're reading this I might be still sleeping, or packing my suitcases for Berlin and Seoul already! I'm leaving for Berlin tomorrow and for Seoul on next Thursday! I'm so so very excited!

Fresh Summer Makeup Look

This is basically my daily makeup look (minus the bright lips). I used to wear a lot more sparkly eyeshadows and eyeliners, but I'm not really feeling that look at the moment. Probably because my eyelids get even more oily at this time of year. Sometimes I wish I had another skin type, which causes me less "problems". I noticed that a lot of asians share the same skin type. The main reason is probably the very delicous but also extremely oily asian dishes with those countless yummy sauces. But every skin type has its advantages and disadvantages. The bright side of having a oily to combination skin is not having to deal with wrinkles at my age, which is certainly quite cool.

These are some perfumes that I own and that I really like. I like sweet scents and vanilla has always been a favorite of mine. I never really bought a lot of perfumes, because honestly I have a really bad sense of smell. My nose is practically disfunctional. A lot of my friends know and are shocked by this confession of mine. But it's true, I hardly smell anything, unless I inhale vigorously. So that was the reason why I never really cared about scents and perfumes, because I never really sensed them. Now that I'm writing this I realize how tragic this is. However everything has its advantages. Like I will never notice someone farting next to me, which is a huge blessing in my opinion.

Skin Treatment

Recently I've been getting a lot of breakouts on my chin. About one year ago my skin was perfectly fine. I only had to deal with a shiny T-Zone and some seldomnly seen spots here and there. I was so happy about my skin situation, because I thought that I was finally out of the "acne-age", and don't ever have to deal with those problems again - I was wrong. I think it was last summer when my skin got difficult again. I'm not sure why, but I think it's because of the usual suspects: Lack of sleep and eating the "wrong" food. Everybody thinks that sugary food causes acne, but actually they have nothing to do with it. It's dairy products that we have to be careful with such as joghurt, cheese, cream cheese or quark. And as you might know, I like to start my day with a bowl of muesli every single morning. And as I cannot live without milk products, I use various skin care products to fight my breakouts.

Step 1: After a long day I remove my makeup with Bebe young care's quick&clean cleansing lotion (1). It works great with waterproof makeup products as well.
Step 2: I wash my face with the Vichy Normaderm Peeling lotion (3). I like that it feels very grainy on my skin.
Step 3: I use the Tea Tree Oil Toner from Alkmene (2), in order to wipe off the last bits of dirt and makeup on my skin.
Step 4: I either use the Tea Tree Oil Face Lotion from Alkmene (5) or bebe young care's mattifying face cream (6) to moisturize my skin, if I don't do this, my skin will dry out within a minute.
Step 5: I finish off my face cleansing routine with a spot treatment. I use Tea Tree Oil (4) from a Drugstore in Germany. I take one drop for each spot and gently pat it on. Because this Product is so aggressive, it'll instantly start to itch on the skin, but for me it's a sign that the Oil is working its magic on those dirty bastards.

Daily Makeup

In this post I decided to show you my daily makeup routine. As you can see, I'm not particularly good at it, I don't see myself as an expert or anything like that. I just like to have fun with makeup and play around with different colors and looks.
Two Years ago my friends gifted me my very first mac lipstick. That was the moment when I started to really have interest in makeup. At the beginning I remember feeling very uncomfortable about wearing lipsticks to school or to the city. It was something completely new to me. Now I can't leave the house without a color on my lips! Funny, how things change with time.
I consider myself an obsessive makeup tutorials viewer (Sometimes it's the first thing that I do in the morning and the last thing I do before falling asleep) and my lipstick and makeup collection has grown ever since. Before I would spend my money on clothes and accessories, lately I've only been splurging on makeup products. That is mainly the reason why I find my closet useless these days.
